XTEN Architecture-Monika Haefelfinger & Austin Kelly (AIA, LEED AP) has been designed a new house called Diamondhouse. Aisha Ayers order them to done this project that has location in Santa Monica, California, USA. This project completion date is December 2009. Diamondhouse is an office and musical studios extension that have form a house and placed deep in the middle of canyon. This area also has minimal access way and narrow space that able to be built. The sunlight will directly shine there just about a few hours a day. These area conditions make the construction hard to be start and develop. This difficult condition make a multifaceted architectural strategy will able to be used even that strategy just for a small building.
First thing to be done is about matching the hillside with the construction then it will need a small side plan o make the space inside the house wide. Like a pound that placed a big rock inside, the addition to this structure must be done carefully without any miss. The addition will be placed between the structure and hillside in order to make something nothing o be a thing. This house will be so interested from in shape. This shape is the result from the area condition so that there is no choice for the builder to make a nice building in middle of hard condition. The material will be chosen well so that the weight of the building will be fit well with the position.
