
When do you wax? New pieces of furniture should be polished with wax or wax polish every two weeks. Later, once a month is enough. Wax protects surface against water or liquor marks.
Wax wise. Polish furniture or floor surface with cloth wrapped around a small sandbag. This adds weight, results in smoother work.
Overheated rooms will injure your finest pieces of furniture, and ruin antiques. Don’t store extra table leaves in cellar or other damp areas. Avoid placing furniture against hot radiator or under open window.
The furniture until it is dry, and then polishes with a clean, soft cloth.
