Oshibe, which in Japanese means stamen, as the reproductive organ of a flower, is an interactive light sculpture created by London designer Tomomi Sayuda, inspired by flowers, but also to the moon, their eggs and generally everything in nature symbolizes life and fertility.

The base has a shape and texture of a cocoon or a nest to accommodate the egg-shaped crystals that are positioned on the stamens, turn on lights that make them shine and activate ambient sounds different depending on the combination. Oshibe was presented at ICFF 2010 in New York.
