A chair from unbalanced proportions, almost as if the image you see above was deliberately stretch to alter the harmony of volumes we are most familiar. In the Bistro Light chair of the Danish Companies Hammerstrøm, legs stretching almost like they were on their heels. It also lengthens the session, however, is reduced in width. The wooden frame is then added padding, hand-applied and designed to make the chair comfortable and welcoming.

The piece, two years ago, has recently been reintroduced to Momentum Design, the section devoted to design limited edition homonym for the Arts Biennial Scandinavian.
