
The Finn Eero Aarnio is one of the great pioneers in the use of plastic for design objects. 1954-1957 he studied at the Institute of Industrial Arts in Helsinki. Eero Aarnio in 1962 directed his own office and one worked as an interior architect and industrial designer, he also works as a graphic designer and photographer. In his early years, followed by Eero Aarnio, the Finnish tradition and dedicated to his designs mainly natural materials, such as the wicker-chair Jattujakkare. In the 1960s, Eero Aarnio is increasingly busy with the new plastic materials and fiberglass discovered for themselves.
