Living Around a Patio House in Ubrique Spain by Julio Barreno

Julio Barreno has designed a new structure design. The location of the buildng is in Ubrique, Spain. The technical architect was Rocio Roman Aguillar. The building started in 2009. Because of the importance of the patios in traditional typology of this city that showed by the aerial view over the middle of the historical in the city of Ubrique, this building built with all of that purpose. The restoration of the old building with original traditional character is showed in the proposal in Colon square.


The color that used in this structure is white because it is so fundamental here. They use the white color because they know that the white color is the traditional color that builds the new abstract language. Some of traditional feature will be the new element in this city. The floor is also made from natural materials. It is made from compressed sol. The building interior also makes this building nice not only from the outside but also the inside. The windows that placed well and big enough also make this house has nice air circulation and get sunlight when it available. The feature of this house make the owner feels comfortable. The sunlight enter from the first floor also, so that the main room of this house will get it enough and make it beautiful that mix with the color of the wall. The architect has a nice idea that showed in this house. It will make the client feel satisfy with this result.
