The name, Micha, recalls the words cat and cats have their own form of lamps designed by Kuntzel + Deygas who have been helped by a team of skilled artisans to create each of these sinuous and elegant lighting. Each of them, in fact, required the work of eight people to create and assemble about thirty pieces.
The lamp housing is the cat’s nose, a disc with a mustache, it regulates the light, the tail is the power cord. The shapes are cut from sheet metal laser cut and bent. The craftsmanship meets technology and they marry in the name of the design. Prices? The first 250 numbered copies will be sold exclusively until the end of year 1000 but after the € price will increase to € 1400.
