Karim Rashid has designed for this new Soft Line sofa called “Pierce.” The name probably refers to its rupture, a break with the usual patterns that bind us to form preconceived and rigid, leaving little to the imagination.
Pierce it breaks the lines, creating the illusion of detached from the back seat, and drawing lines rather than essential and hitherto unimaginable for an object like the sofa. Sofa that in this version, easily translates into a chaise lounge, leaving those who live the prerogative to choose comfort.
