According to the Australian designer David Pidcock were just the beautiful interweaving of roots and branches of this tree to give him the inspiration for his reading lamp Percy. We are faced with a lamp on the characteristics similar to the one we saw yesterday, the W101 Lamp. Even in that case the lamp is powered by a single high-efficiency LEDs (of 1Watt) and is made for bending a sheet of aluminum this time though.

Its particular shape is vaguely reminds me of the lamp ARA by Philippe Starck is a character in the movie Wall-e, is perhaps that ‘eye’ a bit sad that seems to give life to everything. I was a bit ‘skeptical when I saw it but overall I must say that I do not mind as a lamp. For those interested the Percy Lamp is available in two versions-anodized or raw-and three different colors.
