Deconstructionist island, yet functional. So the German designer Gitta Gschwendtner describes his latest project for the Italian brand of kitchens Schiffini presented in Milan in the exhibition organized by Wallpaper.
The structure, in fact, is only apparently uncoordinated as a set of boxes which conceal nothing if not open trays when necessary (even together, potentially). Stated objective to give a sculptural form to the growing demand for space to store food and kitchen items. A single measure, attention to the edges when you are passing.
