The architects Chaewon Kim and Beat Schenk Study UNI Architects have designed this housing solution called “XSmall” which is a hymn to essentiality and extravagance. The unit consists of three boxes overlapping each other and rotated so as to leave more and discovered the four corners so that they can be a source of light for the indoor environment. The construction material is a marine plywood, of great use in boats. To differentiate the environments of the three plans XSmall different materials were used marble for the first and second floors and oak plywood for the ground floor, three floors are connected by a central staircase in wood.
